ARISE can be downloaded from the App Store and played on either hospital or personal devices. It can be installed and staff trained in under 20 minutes.

Unlike VR, no technical equipment is necessary. ARISE kits consist only of thin vinyl wall targets and a mobile app that uses the devices you and families are comfortable with.

Step 1 - Physical Setup

Place the ten repositionable, sterilizable wall decals around patient environment.

Step 2 - App Setup

Download and open the free ARISE by SpellBound app on a tablet or smartphone. Scan your license’s QR Start Code when prompted.

Step 3 - Play!

Characters guide the patient as they visit wall decals to complete challenges and earn rewards.

  • Tablets, such as iPads, and smartphones (both Android and iOS) that have rear-facing cameras and recent operating systems.

  • We designed ARISE for children ages 6-12. However, the care team knows their patients best and we’ve heard success stories with teens and younger children as well.

  • Yes! The ARISE wall decals can be arranged to enable gameplay for children of all abilities. The game can be a great motivator to help children learn to use wheelchairs. For an engaging and educational in-room experience, try placing decals on different medical equipment within the child’s room or in the bathroom!
