Early ambulation has been proven to help patients recover after surgery.
ARISE is designed to motivate movement, so naturally we’ve built in functionality to measure key metrics. Hospitals can use ARISE’s metrics to gain insight on their patients, including:
How far patients have moved.
How engaged patients are in gameplay.
Where patients have traveled.
When patients are most active.
ARISE tracks any type of movement, from rolling to running.
ARISE does not work like a pedometer, and does not access sensitive health data (i.e. Apple Health ). Instead, the augmented reality systems in ARISE utilize position tracking to record movement, no matter if a user is running, walking, crutching, or rolling.
